Heterogeneous catalysis

Lewis acids

Heterogeneous catalysts of Al, Ti, Zn, Cu and other metals on silica or clays as supports. Applications in reactions such as Diels-Alder to get improved chemo- and stereoselectivities.

Oxidation catalysts

Ti-silica catalysts able to perform efficiently epoxidation reactions with alkyl hydroperoxides or aqueous hydrogen peroxide.

Basic catalysts

Catalysts based on layered mixed oxides and phosphates of natural origin. Supported organic bases. Applications in reactions such as epoxidation and condensations.

Tandem catalysis

Combination of several catalysts to minimize the separation and purification steps, and to optimize the recycling of each catalyst.

Mobirise

Supported enantioselective catalysts

Covalent immobilization

Covalent anchoring of chiral ligands such as aminoalcohols, bis(oxazolines) and taddols. Use of the immobilized complexes in enantioselective reactions (Diels-Alder, cyclopropanation, Mukaiyama aldol...)

Electrostatic immobilization

Cationic exchange of chiral complexes on anionic supports. Surface effects of clays on diastereo- and enantioselectivities (cyclopropanation, carbene insertion, Mukaiyama aldol, Mukaiyama-Michael...)

Polymers with polytopic ligands

Release-capture strategy with polytopic ligands, able to form homopolymers with the catalytic metals. Advantages of reactions in homogeneous phase and recovery by homopolymer formation.
